and a resident of the United States. Love and blessings,
Every Thanksgiving, I reflect on the year and make my gratitude list. I have a long list and am so awed by
the people and love in my life. This week I had a discussion with my Writing Club about what members were most thankful
for in their lives- no suprises- everyone's list involved people. So when you feel caught up in the details of getting dinner
ready, traveling, or shopping- gently remind yourself that it is the people that are important. Take time to go on a walk
together, or to sit and talk without the television. Work on a project together- whether it is putting together a video or
a scrapbook page. Be fully present in the moment- together.
Take time out for yourself as well. Write
in your journal, do something slightly decadent ( a great port, a perfect strawberry dipped in dark chocolate, champagne,
cheesecake, or Godiva chocolate), take an aromatherapy bath or shower, light candles, listen to your favorite music. Cherish
being you.
Holidays also- at times- amplify painful moments and sadness. My brother was born on Thanksgiving
and for awhile- after his death- this holiday was bittersweet for me, now I am in a place where I am able to lovingly cherish
the memories. If you are touched by sadness during the holidays due to lost loved ones- give yourself permission to feel your
emotions. Appreciate and miss those you have loved and lost. Let go of telling yourself how you should feel and just be. Let
others love you through it.
During this Thanksgiving week- I send all of you joy, love and blessings,
As you finish your plans for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday (for
those in the USA), you may be feeling some tension- and right after Thanksgiving we are full swing into December holidays.
Do you stress and worry about getting presents, keeping the peace at family gatherings, attending multiple functions, trying
to still eat healthy inspite of all of the goodies surrounding you? Whatever issues you have in your daily life become
amplified during the holidays- you are outside of your normal schedule and the stress sometimes interferes
with the feel-good times that we desire during the season. It is possible to wake up feeling filled with joy everyday-
no matter what is going on.
What if your life could just flow, without stress, struggle or worry?
Would you feel differently about things? Would situations bother you less?
Would you wake up each morning with a transformed outlook and a new spring in your step?
There's only one way to find out.
Let me share with
you some of the life-changing discoveries you and I can be experiencing together over the next twelve months. Through my years
of training, coaching, and mentoring people, I have developed this comprehensive, unique program.
The Living
Joyfully Everyday/ Discovering Your Keys to Living Joyfully group coaching program combines personal mentoring
and coaching, telephone calls and masterminding to supply you with whatever you need to complete and execute your plan for
a joy filled and successful life.
In this
12-month program you'll make these discoveries:
Move from loss/disappointment to joy
How to
work while inspired
How to view time as a moldable gift
How to live joyfully no matter what is going on in your life
How to cultivate
gratitude
How to grow your spiritual life
How to develop awareness
How to cultivate thoughts that work for you and
not against you
How to create a life of abundance
And so much more...
"As a man thinks in his heart,
so is he"
--Proverbs 23:7
You hold the key to having your heart thinking right.
Whatever
you think about and internalize in your heart, is what you become.
Whatever
you believe in your core or your spirit is what you become.

We all
have some conflict in our relationships- and most of us cringe at the idea of dealing with conflict. My guest blogger today
is relationship coach Daniela Koenig, M.A. and she has some unique suggestions for dealing with relationship conflict. Please
enjoy:
Resolve Your Relationship Conflict with Play by Daniela Koenig, M.A.
"The other day I was talking to my friend Sandra on the phone and she shared how she helped her nephew express
anger in a playful way. She explained that she created a space at her house for them to play with water guns. I heard the
excitement in her voice as she described how the two of them had tried to soak each other. Being a visual person I automatically
imagined my friend playing with her nephew having fun while strategizing how to tag each other. In my imagination my friend’s
nephew was about 11 years old. As Sandra went on to share she suddenly said “oh yeah and it was so much fun playing
with my 21 year old nephew and seeing him get all into it”. I had to pause for a moment and adjust my mental picture. This story illustrates how in our culture we often associate play with children. Even though I’m an advocate
for adults using playful ways of dealing with issues or expressing our feelings – I had right away imagined my friend’s
nephew as a child. So when’s the last time you’ve played? What about
playing as a way to resolve conflict in your relationships? Before you try to resolve
conflict in a playful way with your partner or loved ones it is important to:
Make an
agreement with your partner that you both are committed to resolving problems and issues in a loving and playful way.
Try out
some of these playful ways before you are in a heated discussion and both of you are triggered.
Be creative and have fun
Albert Einstein said, “A problem
can not be solved with the same consciousness that created it.”
Shift your consciousness with play. Here are some suggestions on how to bring play into conflict resolution:
When you find yourself stuck in an old recycled conflict with your partner, drop out the words and just use sound
to express how you are feeling. Often words can be miss-interpreted and can be very hurtful to people when we are triggered.
So drop out the words and grunt your frustration or bark like a dog.
Start hopping on one foot and hold your tongue
while you continue complaining about your issue.
Bring out your costumes and dress up like the persona you are
in at that moment. Make your persona bigger. For example, if you find yourself judging your partner, or yourself, get a plastic
“Gavel” and walk through your house hitting the gavel on pillows or chairs (make sure you hit things that can’t
break) and express all your judgments as if your were in an opera.
Play loosens the grip of the “seriousness” of the issue and helps both you and your partner get some
distance from the issue. You can then shift into a new mental/ emotional state from which you can find creative solutions
to your issues.
Try it out!"

It is hard to think of another area of our lives that tends to impact
our joy that we experience - than our marriages. If you are not married- you probably also feel similarly about your
long term relationships. I have a superb guest blogger today- Executive Marriage Coach Tom King. He has provided some excellent
thoughts to help you today. Please enjoy:
Elevating Marriage by Tom King
"Are you taking
your marriage for granted? It is very easy to do with the hectic pace of modern life and the demands of our
various businesses. But neglecting your marriage is as dangerous as neglecting the health of your heart. If your
heart stops beating and pumping blood they way it is designed to do you are dead. Likewise your marriage is at the heart
of your overall well-being, circulating critical nourishment to other parts of your life. If your marriage
stops functioning the way it is supposed to then parts of your life will also die.
Marriage is a unique and sacred relationship. It is grossly under appreciated in today’s society.
Recent marriage statistics indicate divorce is still increasing and marriage satisfaction is decreasing. Because of
the level of intimacy and intensity that comes with marriage, it is the relationship that brings out the best and the worst
in us. We see who we really are reflected in our marriage. More clearly than any other relationship, marriage
reveals to us our levels of maturity, enlightenment, and evolution. How evolved are you? Look into your
marriage and you will see yourself.
The sacredness of marriage
is the mysterious mingling of our emotional and spiritual selves. Within marriage we can reach our highest potential.
In the New Testament, the Apostle Paul said that marriage is a model of the relationship between Christ and the church.
To me that means marriage is a relationship that is both human and divine, carnal and sacred. A healthy marriage
embodies mutual love and sacrifice, leadership and service, seeking the best for all involved.
This is not about romanticizing marriage, rather it is a call
to elevate it to it’s rightful place. Certainly marriage is not for everyone and not every marriage
can or should be saved. Often the day to day realities are anything but romantic or sacred. That, however, does
not minimize the potential to discover and nurture that best of ourselves and one another through this special relationship.
When we stop blaming our partners and allow the relationship to help us see the truth about ourselves and
what we need to change, then we are on our way to realizing this potential." Tom King

Welcome to my guest blogger today- Author, Liz Lynch
"While many of us who start our own businesses or who become solo professionals value our independence, we quickly find
more value in having people at our side to give us extra strength, visibility and insight in the market. And so we get
out there both in person and online to network and build relationships.
It’s great to meet new people and learn what they do, and it’s even more exciting when you can find a
great deal of synergy between your goals and theirs. This is when you can start to explore referral partnerships or strategic
alliances.
These are collaborations you can
create with other entrepreneurs, professional service providers or small businesses owners that can open up a whole pipeline
of new business for the both of you and strengthen your respective brands.
Partners can help you:
Build more customer trust and loyalty. The more resources you are able to share, the more completely you can
serve your market. This will help you be seen as a go-to resource and allow you to transition from mere service provider to
trusted advisor.
Break into new markets more easily. Building awareness of your products and services in a new market takes
time and money, but you can shortcut some of the process by leveraging the trust and credibility of your referral partner.
If you provide copywriting services for financial advisory firms, for example, you can offer the same services to insurance
agents by partnering with someone who already serves that market but with a non-competitive offering.
Get a new perspective. If
you have trouble navigating your new client's bureaucracy, or just want to bounce ideas off of someone who knows the players,
you can turn to your referral partner for important insight and feedback.
Become a stronger competitor. You can take the referral relationship a step further by partnering
to create a bundled solution for your market. By connecting your products or services together, you can provide a more complete
answer to your target market's needs, saving them time and energy in gathering all the elements themselves, and giving you
an edge over competitors who offer just one piece of the puzzle.
Allow you to think big. Sometimes you don't see the full potential of what you can create
in your business until you see what others are doing, how you overlap, what their strengths are, and where you can take the
relationship further. That's when the fun really begins. In working together, you might discover new products to create or
new expansion opportunities that you would never have thought of tackling on your own.
Partnerships are most powerful when all the parties benefit. It’s about being
open and sharing, and knowing that when we help others, we also help ourselves. For a great example of this, visit www.SmartNetworkingNow.com to see the power of partnerships in action.
When you’re there, you can learn more about Liz Lynch and her book “Smart Networking: Attract a
Following In Person and Online” – a must read for anybody looking to build relationships authentically and strategically
– and sign up to receive a gift package of Liz’s 11 Smart Networking Tips and additional bonus gifts from her
partners (including yours truly!)."

The Holiday season is coming up fast and I wanted to share my tips
on managing time during this fun, family oriented, yet exhausting season.
If you are like most people, the Holiday
Season is filled with extra activities, gatherings, and other tasks. Yet you still have your carpools, commutes, jobs,
and everything else that goes along with your everyday life. This time of the year should be special, not stressful because
you have tried to pack too much in to your days. My time management strategies during the Holidays include the following.
Be realistic in your expectations: Realize that everything takes some amount of time. When you plan your shopping,
wrapping presents, or other projects-look at your week. Is it realistic? Can one human being possibly accomplish everything
that you have planned? If not, eliminate, restructure, or delegate.
Set aside time for the important things:
If you have an important work deadline or home project make sure that you have created time for it. Maybe you need to eliminate
the Christmas caroling. Now if you have Christmas caroled for years and this is truly special for you-maybe this would not
be the item that you choose to take out of your schedule. Evaluate and prioritize. The point is-that you do not have to say
"yes" to every opportunity that arises in your life. Choose to do the things that truly have a value for you in
your life.
Do one thing at a time: To all the multi taskers out there--you are not being as effective as you could
be if you did one thing at a time. Now, sometimes multitasking is unavoidable, but for the most part, you do have control
over whether you tackle things one at a time or try to do multiple tasks at once. By focusing on one thing, you have a higher
level of concentration and will be able to accomplish more in a shorter amount of time.
Avoid procrastination:
Most procrastination stems from fear-fear of the unknown or fear of not accomplishing something successfully. Occasionally,
you may procrastinate on tasks that you simply do not want to do-here is where you ask yourself if you can eliminate it, delegate
it or hire someone else to do it. Overcoming procrastination involves one simple idea-just start. Start your task with
some activity or aspect of the project. Remember that saying, "a body in motion tends to stay in motion"?
Live joyfully: truly enjoy the Holiday Season. Appreciate and be thankful for your friends, your family, your home, your
vehicle, your job....the list could go on and on. Be in a state of gratitude and love. Live joyfully
Following
effective time management strategies during the Holidays will ease tension and allow you to live in the moment. Have a blessed
Holiday Season.

Enjoy this article from author and friend Sarah Maria:
"How
many times have you waited for something to change so that you could finally start feeling beautiful?
If
you are like most women, the answer is “all the time.”Here is the problem: most of us
tend to live with the delusional belief that we somehow need to change in order to be beautiful. It usually
sounds something like:
When I lose this extra weight,
then I will be attractive.
If I can just get my abs a little more toned, then I can wear that bikini I love.
I feel so much better after
I put on my make-up in the morning.
I looked much sexier before I had these wrinkles.
My hair looks drab and lifeless until I get
it colored.
Unfortunately, we think these stories, these lies, that we have been taught are
true. We believe that we somehow need to change who we are, how we look, and what we do in order to finally be sexy, attractive,
and drop-dead gorgeous.
This is a lie – an erroneous, ubiquitous, and
often painful lie. The truth of the matter is that you are inherently, unconditionally, and absolutely beautiful and loveable
right now, without changing a single thing.
Fortunately, very fortunately, you can expose
these lies and choose to no longer live under their spell.
Ready to get started? Here are 6 simple and sure-fired ways to help you feel beautiful
today:
1.Become
aware of what you are thinking.Simply become aware of the stories you are telling yourself so that you are
no longer reacting on auto-pilot. Through awareness alone, you can begin to transmute your reality and transform lies into
truth. Actively acknowledge that there is no inherent truth in the belief that you need to change something about yourself
in order to be attractive. Consider that you can start feeling beautiful immediately, in this moment, without changing a single
thing.
2.Set an Intention to See Beauty
Setting an intention is simple: intend to create a different reality for yourself. Here are some examples:
I intend to
experience my inherent beauty. Or: I intend to see my beauty and perfection at all times. Or: I intend to
know I am inherently beautiful, lovable, and worthwhile.
Do you ever see your
reflection in the mirror and grimace at your wrinkles, vowing to purchase the latest anti-wrinkle cream?
Set an intention to find your
beauty in your reflection.
Or when you undress, do you ever suck in
your stomach, berating yourself for not yet losing those 5 extra pounds?
Set an intention to appreciate the body that you have right now.
Do you ever go shopping for clothes and wish you were a size (or more) smaller?
Set an intention to unconditionally
accept your body.
Hopefully
you get the idea; set an intention to see yourself through the eyes of beauty.
3.Take
a “Meditation Moment”
Meditation is the
mental equivalent of brushing your teeth. This means that it is an essential and indispensable daily activity designed to
help rest and rejuvenate your body, cleanse your psyche, awaken your spirit, and help you live a life that you love.
Nourish yourself with instant meditation moments throughout the day.
Are you waiting at the bus stop on your way to work? Close
your eyes and take a few deep breaths, allowing yourself to connect within.
Are
you making dinner for the family? Take 30 seconds and focus on the sounds, smells, and sensations in your environment, letting
them nourish your senses.
Are you in the shower, getting ready to start
your day?
Turn your attention to the feeling of warm water cascading against you, gently
caressing your body, and allow yourself to relax.
These
meditation moments can happen anywhere, anytime – 30 to 60 seconds of closing your eyes and connecting within can make
all the difference in the world.
4.Your Body is Your
Best Friend
Your human body is your truest ally.
Befriend it and it will serve you tirelessly.
Treat it as you would
a dear friend:
Feed your body with healthy food, taking the time to give
it proper nourishment.
Remember to exercise, and make it enjoyable.
If the gym makes you cringe, opt for yoga, Pilates, dance, or good old walking. Anything to get your body moving will do wonders.
Relaxation is key. In our harried and hurried world, it is essential that you remember to relax and rejuvenate.
Instead
of critiquing your body for not being enough of this and for being too much of that, offer it gratitude and appreciation for
it unwavering support and devotion.
5.Create Meaningful
Moments
Every day is filled with countless tasks and errands: going to work, talking
with friends, picking up the kids, supporting your significant other, washing dishes, going to the gym, visiting the supermarket,
shopping – on and one it goes.Remember that you can imbue each moment with meaning. It can be as
simple as smiling at everyone you meet, reacting with compassion and love instead of anger, or making sure to tell your friends
and loved ones how much you care about them.
6.Your Smoking
Hot, Inside OutRemember, you were born beautiful. Believing that you are unattractive is
a learned habit. You can unlearn it and discover the Joy, Peace, and Love that are your natural sate and birthright!
So that is it – 6
Simple Steps. 6 simple steps to start feeling beautiful, right now, in this moment. You don’t have to go anywhere or
do anything to experience the Beauty that you already are. In fact, there is nothing you can do, say, or buy that will make
you any more perfect, any more beautiful, or any more desirable than you are in this very moment. Simply know this, and you
will revel in your true beauty."
